The internet has not only changed how the world does business but how potential buyers find homes. The 2010 Profile of Buyers and Seller from the National Association of Realtors showed that 89% of home buyers used the internet to search for homes. This is up 18% from 2003. The use of print media, like magazines and newspapers, has gone by the wayside. In the same report from the National Association of Realtors, only 9% of home buyers frequently used the newspaper to find homes, and only 6% used real estate magazines. With this knowledge, I have created an up to date marketing plan to get your home sold.
Standard Marketing
- Sign in front yard
- Entry into NNRMLS system
- Open house within two weeks of your property going on the market
Website Syndication
Your property will be syndicated, free of charge, to the following websites and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for potential buyers.

Video Tour of Your Home
The use of video is the newest technology in real estate marketing. Video not only gives buyers a better view and feel of your home but it also broadens your home’s search results (SEO) on the internet. Pictures may say a thousand words but video amplifies those words.
The video tour will include still photos and video of your home. The video will run no longer four to five minutes, depending on house size, in order to keep the attention of potential buyers. This video tour will be included in the MLS listing, syndicated to many of the websites above, blogged on RenownHomes.com and RenownRes.com, and uploaded to YouTube.
MMR
At the initial listing presentation you will receive a CMA of your home. While that’s great for the initial list price, it is crucial to stay up to date on the market. The MMR or Monthly Market Report is similar to a CMA and will keep both you and I aware of what the market is doing around your house. This tool will allow you to see potential reasons why your home may have not sold and what we need to do in order to be competitive.
